Justin and Hailey Bieber have finally put down roots in the neighborhood they’ve circled for years, according to Elle Decor. The couple was spotted touring West Village rentals as far back as 2019, and now they’ve made it official, purchasing a four-bedroom unit at 160 Leroy Street for the full asking price of $12 million.
The building itself is a standout: a curving 15-story tower designed by Pritzker Prize winning architects Herzog & de Meuron and developed by former Studio 54 impresario Ian Schrager. Completed in 2016, the block-long structure takes design cues from Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer, with a rippling glass facade that gives nearly every residence a view of the Hudson River.
The nearly 2,800-square-foot apartment adds to a real estate portfolio that, per Elle Decor’s earlier reporting, already includes two homes in California and a sprawling 101-acre property in Ontario, Justin’s home province. Before landing at 160 Leroy, the couple had reportedly been living at the Oosten development in South Williamsburg, along with a rental in Lower Manhattan.
Beyond the river views, the building’s amenities include a 70-foot pool, a whirlpool spa, and a private courtyard. But for a couple as recognizable as the Biebers, Elle Decor notes that the real appeal may lie in the building’s privacy infrastructure: round-the-clock door staff, plus a porte cochère and parking garage that allow residents to come and go without being seen from the street, a setup celebrities tend to favor.
Inside, the new condo’s centerpiece is a dual kitchen setup, a full chef’s kitchen paired with a separate “social” kitchen for entertaining. The primary suite is another highlight, anchored by a marble bathroom with a soaking tub and heated floors.
The purchase caps off an eventful stretch for the couple. Married since 2018, they welcomed their son, Jack Blues, in August 2024. Justin closed out a busy year with a headlining set at Coachella in April, following the 2025 release of his album SWAG. Hailey, meanwhile, sold her beauty brand Rhode to e.l.f. Beauty in October, in a deal reportedly worth around $1 billion.
Adam Heller of The Heller Organization held the listing, while Romy Hechinger of Compass represented the Biebers in the transaction.
