The Upper West Side is found in Manhattan, between Central Park and the Hudson River on the East/West border and West 59th Street and West 110th Street on the South/North border and is prominent amongst an affluent and luxury-prone resident base.

Amongst the many residential buildings in the area, The Dakota, on 72nd Street and Central Park West, is definitely the most recognized (it was John Lennon’s apartment building and the location of his murder in 1980).

ART
The Museum of Natural History on Central Park West is one of the most renowned spaces in the entire city. The museum, which showcases natural wonders, boasts over 30 million artifact and specimens.
Also in the area is the famous Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Comprising a variety of different indoor and outdoor performance buildings, the space hosts the New York City Opera, the Julliard School, the New York City Ballet, amongst many others.

Fine dining options on the Upper West Side can be found next door to more casual eateries, making the area’s dining scene a true melting pot of gastronomies. The subway lines that traverse the area are the C, B, 1, 2 and 3 trains. Bus routes include the M5, M7, M10, M11, M104, M57, M66, M72, M79, M86, M96 and M106 buses.
